Hi, I’m Naomi Nakamura!

After years of dieting, counting calories and fat grams, and overexercising, I was a hot mess.

I suffered from embarrassing acne, debilitating insomnia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, a fatty liver and more.

I saw countless doctors who either didn’t know how to help me, gave me bad advice, or gave me complicated protocols that I didn’t know how to follow them or why I should.

It wasn’t until I worked with a health coach who not only helped me understand why and how to implement my doctor’s advice, but also taught me how I could help myself! I had more control over my health than I ever realized and I was inspired to pay it forward.

 That's why I’m now a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach that specializes in Functional Nutrition! I’ll teach you how to become empowered and be the leader in your own healthcare.

Just as the roots of a tree grow in soil, the roots of a health issue grow in an environment that is conducive to that particular problem. When we alter the soil, we alter the roots. In this way we can bring lasting relief by changing the environment (diet and lifestyle.).

Here's How We'll Do It:

Step 1:

We meet for a virtual coffee date to see if we’re a good fit to work together.

Step 2:

After formalizing your coaching package I’ll send you a 3-day Food Journal and Health History Intake Form that must be completed before our initial session.

Step 3:

We'll meet virtually, via Zoom (an online video conference tool) for a 60-75 minute initial session.

In this initial session we’ll deep dive into your Food Journal and Health History and create a plan of action.

Step 4:

If you have opted to have follow-up sessions, we’ll meet for bi-weekly 30-minutes.

In these sessions we’ll review the data that you collect, progress you’ve made and challenges you’ve faced.

In your final session, we’ll celebrate your growth and accomplishments! We’ll identify your next goal and create a long-term plan so you can continue with your success!

Additional Support:

During the duration of your coaching package, you’ll have access to additional support between sessions from me via email and Voxer.

Who’s One-on-One coaching For?

One-on-One Coaching Is for you if:

  • You value and prioritize your health.

  • You're tired of chasing symptoms and you're ready to address the root cause of your complaints.

  • You're willing to explore dietary changes and open to trying new-to-you foods.

  • You believe in the mind+body connection and are open to holistic approaches to health.

  • You understand that you may need to make lifestyle changes. You're committed to trying but you need personalized guidance and accountability.

  • You're working with a doctor, naturopath, and/or other healthcare practitioner and need support to implement their recommended treatment plan to make it practical for you.

One-on-One Coaching Is not for you if:

  • You aren't willing to prioritize your health.

  • You have a diet mentality and you're looking for a quick fix.

  • You're set in your ways and not open to trying new foods or exploring other approaches to health.

  • You "don't have time" and aren't willing to make the time to do the things I may ask of you.

  • You believe the mind and body aren't related, or that your body is silo'd - different systems aren't related to each other.

  • You expect me to do all the work for you. While I'm here to teach, guide and support you, we together, work in partnership.

  • You believe that you already have all the answers and aren't open to learning and trying other approaches to health.
