It’s easy to think that we’re pretty healthy when we take supplements. This is true to some extent, but taking supplements is only one part of living a healthy life, and at times, can be overprescribed.
In this episode, I highlight supplementation and share my journey of how I started taking them back in 2013 when I began my self-healing journey to improve my overall health. For years I’ve heard people rave about the benefits of CBD oil and how it’s only thing that helped them get a good nights sleep. So after years of taking prescriptions and supplements that weren’t very effective, I decided that it was time for me to give CBD oil a shot myself.
So a couple of months ago, a friend took me to a cannabis dispensary and the whole experience made me I realize that I had no context as to how to chose which options were best for me.
Were they organic? If so, what did that even mean? As we know, in the beauty industry, terms like “natural” and “organic” don’t hold weight because those terms haven’t been defined.
