Episode 000: Launching the Live FAB Life Podcast

Back in 2015, I was inspired to start a podcast. I bought all of the equipment and software I needed - a microphone, pop filter, recording software - and then I did nothing.

Now here we are, over two years later, and it’s finally live!

My goal for this podcast is to have real, honest and transparent conversations on the challenges that we, as women working in the corporate world face, and how those challenges impact our health. Because with most corporate jobs, and especially ones in the tech world, there’s no such thing as a “9-5” anymore.

We’ll talk about food and nutrition and how food can be medicine and equally poison. We’ll take a step back and look at things differently, talking about health beyond diet and exercise.

We’ll take an honest look at stressors that are impacting our health and talk about ways to manage them.

And we’ll talk about environmental toxins and how they affect all of us - and this, in my opinion, is something that’s not talked about enough.

My goal is to present you with a different way of looking at your health, to have real talk, share stories and experiences, and offer practical solutions. And most of all, to let you know that you’re not alone in your struggles.

This podcast is for you:

  • If you’re struggling with your health and doing all things you’ve been told you’re supposed to do, and it’s not working

  • Or if you’re not doing all the things you know you should be doing but just aren’t sure where to start

  • If you feel like your job is compromising your health

  • If you’re exhausted and frustrated because you’re not able to get a good night’s sleep

  • If you’ve overtrained and can’t seem to bounce back from it
