Clean Living: Environmental toxins are all around us, potentially impacting our health and our waistlines. We need to take action in our own lives to reduce our exposure as much as possible to these harmful chemicals. Making changes in our homes to reduce exposure, while also aligning healthy eating habits and healthy lifestyle practices, can make all the difference between those who succeed, and those who are destined to try and try again.
Safer Skincare: The United States has not passed a law governing the cosmetics industry since 1938, and has only banned 11 ingredients, while the European Union has banned 1400. As a Functional Nutrition Health Coach, I teach people how to make diet and lifestyle changes that include reducing exposures to such harmful toxins.
Overtraining: You know the drive to push yourself harder? One more mile, five more minutes on the track, pushing through snow, rain and baking heat, all for the reward at the end... one more race completed, one more accomplishment achieved, a body that speaks of strength and endurance. Our bodies are finely balanced machines and, just like a muscle car that gets pushed too hard, your body could suffer critical breakdowns if you push it beyond its capabilities.

After years of suffering from digestive issues, acne, and fatigue, I finally connected that at the root of all these things was stress. I’ve had to learn how to treat my body with love and grace in a way that connects my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being, all while still being able to be a high performer at home, at work, and at play.
Functional Nutrition: We seek to understand the individual, address the environment that their symptoms appeared, educate on why health challenges have manifested, build a bridge to fill the communication and education gap between the healthcare provider and client, and teach how to restore health using the text of the three-tier Functional Nutrition Framework.
Digestive & Gut Health: You are not what you eat. Instead, you are what your body can do with what you eat. In other words, you are what your body can break down and absorb. The health of your gut is at the core of health and involved in every single system in your body. When you care for the health of your gut, you’re creating a stable foundation your health.
Kicking Sugar to the Curb: Sugar is such an enormous part of our social and cultural lives; any celebration is yet another reason to pile on and plow through sweet treats galore. We associate it with good things, like calling loved ones "honey", "sweetie", and, of course, "sugar"! It's no wonder we build up such an emotional connection to it. We consume so much unnecessary sugar and most of the time, it's because we're emotionally connected to it. And we wonder why obesity is becoming epidemic. Yet it is possible to break the emotional bonds to sugar!
Work + Health Balance: There’s a growing opinion that work + life balance is an unattainable But balance is something that you do, not something that you have or attain. Work + life balance is relative; what work+balance looks like will be different for each person. But when you’re a high achiever, making meaningful contributions to the world day in and day out, your health is essential to your success. If you don’t take care of yourself, how can you put your best foot forward, be a top performer, and take care of anyone else?

Years of working in Silicon Valley showed her just how much pressure people are under. She turned to long-distance running to cope with work-related stress. But after years of intense marathon training and restrictive dieting, she started to gain weight and experienced severe burnout. Looking for answers on why this was happening, she attended the Institute of Integrated Nutrition, then the Functional Nutrition Alliance and continues to further her education on functional nutrition, lifestyle management and environmental toxins.
Today, she uses her unique insight to teach her clients how to be empowered and take a leadership role in their own healthcare so they can design the life they dream about, because everyone deserves to live a FAB life!
